Understand the Importance of the Messages You Send

I’ve done some soul searching in my life and really focused on developing into a better person both in my personal life and in my professional life. Here is a quote that I find to be true in just about any phase of your life:
“Life is an echo – what you send out – comes back.” – Zig Zigler
Initial Thoughts
This is quite an interesting quote. Essentially, the vibes that you are sending out and relaying to who you communicate with in a given day of your life – wind up making their way back to you in some way, shape or form. A ‘give and you shall receive’ sort of thing. I hadn’t ever thought of it so literally though, because an echo is actually your exact same message – just returned multiple times and from different ways, angles, sounds, etc.
Digging Deeper:
Understanding how you communicate with the people in your life and how your outgoing message is perceived is important. There are times when someone may not understand why they are being treated a certain way, or why people react to them in certain ways – chances are that they are not fully conscious of the message that they are sending out. This is very applicable to those with negative attitudes and who hold a negative outlook on life. If you send out negativity – you can count on getting negative reactions to your behavior and overall negative vibes from just about every aspect of your life.
What to Walk Away With:
Be positive. Do what you can to understand what messages you are sending out to others in your life – whether it’s people in the office, your family, friends, people you meet while networking, etc. Maintaining a positive attitude is very easy to convey – in other words – if you are positive, you can bet that it is not going to go unnoticed. In conclusion, be positive, treat others in a manner in which you would like to be treated, and understand that if you are a helpful, sharing, and caring individual – you can expect these things to come back around your way throughout life.
