the importance of exercise

Everybody, friends, readers – wouldn’t you say too many people are cool with Ellen…

“I really don’t think I need buns of steel. I’d be happy with buns of cinnamon.” ~Ellen DeGeneres

And more people need to hang with Carol?

“Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional, and mental states.” ~Carol Welch

Ellen is funny and Carol is not. But about being in shape! I’m streaky. But when I’m on, it feels great and everything else in life is more enjoyable. Working out, whatever that means for you, is something you need to be doing! Usually, for me that means that I’m hitting the gym for maybe 45 minutes, 3 times per week. Not a lot of time, but enough for me to benefit from it.

Here’s a simple way of putting it. It’s one thing you can do, that totally benefits you physically, emotionally, and mentally. It’s a guarantee that your quality of life will improve if you are active and interested in keeping yourself in shape.

I figured a little reminder couldn’t hurt either! Good luck with that!

What an awesome reminder! It’s something that is hard to be consistent with, but as long as you are doing what you can and making efforts – I think you’ll experience some of the benefits you speak of.

    Thanks!!

Man, my life has changed since I started exercising. Actually,I don’t have a schedule. I get my workout by bicycle or taking walks or helping my family lift things during cleanup and so. That’s alright too! Not that you’ve to go to vigorous gym trainings all your life. Just enjoy it.

      Jaky,

You’re right…it’s not like you have to commit yourself to some gym or ridiculous training schedule. Like I said, usually just 3 times per week for about 45 minutes can do wonders for me. Of course, eating healthy is always helpful…
